Details

Kathleen grew up in the Central Australian Aboriginal community Hermannsburg. She is of Pitatjantatjara and Western Arrernte heritage. Her art is inspired by memories and family connections that have become an important part of her life, belonging and identity. These themes are shared through her designs on the jewellery. Allegria Designs directly collaborates with Kathleen and contributes royalties back to her.

The Family Connection Series reflects Kathleen Buzzacott treasured memories of life growing up with family in a remote Aboriginal Community. Kathleen Buzzacott's artworks have been cropped and printed on anodised aluminium.

Unique and innovative.

I would have liked to have seen it on a persons neck before I made the decision to purchase. I like where it sits on my neck, just perfect. I actually didn’t realise it had the white piece underneath in the same shape. I thought that was a shadow in the photo. I was a little disappointed that the fabulous pattern was just a print. I think the round box it came in is very unique and innovative. The colours in the design will go with all the tops I wear. Over all pleased with my purchase.
